One year has gone by in a flash, but I can’t imagine life without you

One year of laughter, tears and sleepless nights, and learning new levels of tiredness

One year of watching you grow every day, getting bigger, stronger and even more hair

One year of seeing your personality blossom, your perfect scowl, your perfect smile and adorable giggles

One year of an insatiable appetite wanting breast milk through the long night

One year of Cats in Chaos, cockapoo cosmonauts and many more books each night

One year of long pram walks to help you sleep and laughing up at the trees

One year of a love that has flourished and completed our family of three

One year and many more to come filled with life’s adventures, your smiles, laughter and love.

I Love You

I love your skin, I love your warmth and your comfort through the night

I love to play and babble, as long as you’re in sight

I love to devour all the food and blueberries are the best

I love to smush food in my face, my hair, my arms and chest

I love to play peek-a-boo and talk to all my toys

I love to crawl really fast and make lots of noise

I love it when you’re by my side and never out of view

I love it when we read together but mostly, I love you.
